IL TEMPO
Time. What is time? How do we experience it? Do we pass through time or does it pass through our lives? Is it a measurable dimension.....or what is being "measured" is never time itself but a representation of it? What link does time have with our finite lives? Does a time for our ending and a time for our origins make sense? Can time finish? And, has it even begun? And, art, what connection does art have with time? Is artistic time different from scientific time? Or is artistic time designed as a suspension of daily time? Does art have anything to do with eternity? Or, does time only live from another perspective?
These are all questions that the West has asked itself and continues to do so... and, even on this occasion too, they will once more be recollected within what is intended to be a real "performance".
Il tempo. Cosa è il tempo? Come ne facciamo esperienza? Siamo noi ad attraversare il tempo, o è il tempo che attraversa le nostre vite? Si tratta di una dimensione misurabile... oppure ad essere misurato non è mai il tempo, ma una sua rappresentazione? Che legame ha il tempo con la nostra finitezza? Ha senso un tempo della fine e un tempo dell'origine? Il tempo può finire? Ed è cominciato ? E l'arte, che legame ha con il tempo? Quello artistico è un altro tempo rispetto a quello della scienza? O il tempo dell'arte si disegna come sospensione del tempo quotidiano? L'arte ha a che fare con l'eternità? O abita il tempo, solo, da un'altra prospettiva?
Tutte domande che l'Occidente si è posto e continuerà a porsi... e che anche in quest'occasione verranno rammemorate all'interno di quella che vuole essere una vera e propria "performance".
