NORUZ, il Capodanno persiano

Il nuovo anno persiano: NORUZ 1387.

Per il quinto anno consecutivo si festeggia il capodanno persiano presso lo spazio Farahzadart.
Da 4000 anni la tradizione persiana fa coincidere il 20 marzo con Noruz: festa laica e pagana del "Nuovo Giorno".
L’anno inizia ufficialmente quando il sole lascia il segno zodiacale dei pesci per entrare in quello dell’ariete.
E’ l’equinozio di primavera: il tempo del giorno e della notte si equivalgono.
Noruz è un momento di incontro tra diverse etnie e tradizioni anche al di fuori della nazione iraniana poiché viene festeggiato anche da kurdi, afgani, hindù, tagiki, pachistani, mozabiti, algerini e zoroastriani.

NORUZ, the Persian New Year

The persian New Year: Noruz 1387.

For the fifth consecutive year, we will be celebrating the persian new year at the Farahzadart space.
For 4,000 years,the persian tradition has set the 20th of March to coincide with Noruz: the secular and pagan festival of the ”New Day“.
The year officially begins when the sun leaves the sign of pisces to enter into aries.
This is the Vernal (spring) Equinox: the date when day and night are of the same length.
Noruz is a time of encounter among various ethnicities and traditions,not all of which are found exclusively within the nation of iran: Noruz is also celebrated by Kurds, Afghans, Hindus, Tajiks, Pakistanis, Mozabites, Algerians and Zoroastrians.
